Ex-Arc Infrastructure CEO Paul Larsen to join Perron Group board

The Perron Group has tapped an infrastructure and transport industry veteran to fill a board seat left vacant by the departure of long-term director Ross Ledger. Paul Larsen will join the board from January 1, bringing with him extensive experience from his tenure at Arc Infrastructure, including as commercial and operations general manager and group chief executive. As well as being a director of Arc, Mr Larsen has also served on the boards of the Kimberley Port Authority, Centurion Transport, the Australasian Railway Association, the Australian Logistics Council and Youth Focus. He has a Bachelor of Business, is a Certified Practising Accountant and a graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors. “The appointment of Mr Larsen comes after an extensive recruitment process to identify a person with the unique skills and experience the board believed was needed to complement the skills and experience of our existing seven directors,” the group said. “Mr Larsen brings a wide range of skills and experience to his appointment with Perron Group, including strategy formulation, capital allocation, investment management, infrastructure, private equity as well as information technology and innovation.” The Perron Group, founded by the late Stan Perron, counts shopping centres and office towers, shares, real estate, a lucrative iron ore royalty and WA distribution rights to new Toyota vehicles among its asset portfolio. Mr Ledger retired from the board earlier this year after nearly 30 years of service.
