Darwin Cup Carnival tickets go on sale, with event tipped to be one of the biggest yet amid high interstate interest

TICKETS will be released for one of the most anticipated Darwin Cup Carnivals at noon today, with the carnival returning to its full eight-day schedule. Mr Morgan said the number of interstate sales indicated 2021 could make for one of the biggest years yet. “It is very exciting to see such unprecedented interest from interstate, and we have been fielding upwards of 20 calls a day with people inquiring,” he said. “Race goers should not hesitate in buying their tickets as we are expecting another complete sellout.” Darwin Turf Club young member Alex Ward said she expected a big social year at the races. “Seeing friends and family come from interstate is really exciting because it’s the dry season, it’s so lovely up here for them to escape winter,” she said.
