SEE THE PICTURES: Newdegate Machinery Field Days enters a new era with ‘hugely successful’ 51st event

The Newdegate Machinery Field Days has ushered in a new era with a fitting theme of Recycling and Sustainability setting the scene for the 51st event on September 6 and 7, after the 50th celebrations last year. A wild and windy first day of the event was followed by sunny skies and some of the best Field Days weather many could remember on the second day, with exhibitors reporting strong interest from those in attendance. A strong crowd of more than 9000 attended the event across the two days, with more than 300 exhibitors travelling from across WA to showcase the best in agriculture, lifestyle, and more. Like always, the Exhibitor Awards were hotly-contested with seven businesses emerging triumphant after being deemed to have the best site displays in a range of different categories. There really was something for everyone at this year’s event, with tonnes of machinery for farmers to peruse, several competitions to keep crowds entertained, the Dyson Jones Fashion Parade, more children’s activities and entertainment than ever before. The 2024 Newdegate Machinery Field Days will be held September 4 and 5.
