CBH has moved headquarters for the first time in 16 years, from Delhi Street in West Perth to St George’s Terrace.

The company had occupied Gayfer House at 30 Delhi Street since 2003 and before that had been based next door at 22 Delhi Street since 1969.

CBH people and performance general manger Kelly McKenzie said the inner-city location would “result in significant annual savings ... of about 60 per cent annually”.

“CBH’s lease at 30 Delhi Street was due to expire in August 2019, and with favourable office leasing market conditions currently in Perth, the opportunity to review our accommodation options was undertaken and we determined to move,” she said.

“The relocation will result in significant annual savings on accommodation of around 60 per cent annually, as well as other efficiencies.

“The new office layout and fit-out has been designed to engage employees and lift productivity.”

The move is part of a push to cut costs at the grain handler, headed by chief executive Jimmy Wilson, which includes cutting about $100 million from its bottom line by the end of the year.

CBH’s new office is on Level 6, 240 St Georges Terrace.
