Rodeo high jinks to pull in big audience
The Wagin Woolorama rodeo is set to be bigger and better than ever.
In its sixth year, the rodeo has become an institution at the show.
Rodeo steward Arthur Pederick said he hoped to better last year's big result of 110 entrants and 300 spectators.
Mr Pederick said spectators particularly enjoyed watching local contestants at the Boddington competition.
"We also are expecting about 42 national entries," he said.
Mr Pederick said Morton Seed and Grain had generously donated $5000 prize money for the competition this year.
"To have this money up for grabs and to have the calibre of competitors we have coming on board shows a commitment to the rodeo," he said.
