Kubota shows it cares

Concerned with improving the state of men’s health in regional and rural Australia, Kubota Tractor Australia and its national dealer network are supporting the Movember Foundation.

Funds raised by Movember go directly to the Prostate Cancer Foundation of Australia and Beyond Blue, the national depression initiative.

Kubota Tractor Australia managing director Toshi Kawasaki said that because Kubota customers and dealerships were primarily outside metropolitan areas, he felt Movember was a cause that reflected Kubota’s corporate values.

“We have donated $50,000 as a Movember sponsor which will be derived from sales of our Kubota agricultural and industrial equipment in October, November and December, ” Mr Kawasaki said.

In addition, Kubota dealers are creating their own ‘mo growing’ teams, whereby mo growers are sponsored through donations made directly to Movember.
