Ride & Drive a hit at school

Dust swirled and machines roared at AFGRI Equipment’s biggest Ride & Drive event in history, which included three jam-packed days of hands-on demonstrations.

Held in a paddock at WA College of Agriculture — Morawa, the event attracted about 70 farmers across the three days and students from the college.

Not only were growers able to see and feel the machinery, they were also able to jump in the cab and give it a whirl.

The 100ha set up included six main areas, the first a main tent with information on farm and data management.

Five outdoor stations featured various machines designed for soil preparation, seeding, nurturing and protecting, and harvest.
