Farm death after man is hit by tractor near Beverley

A man has died while trying to free a bogged truck on a farm in the Wheatbelt overnight.

Police were called to the farm in Kokeby, south of Beverley, at 9.35pm after they were told a 60-year-old man had been hit by a tractor.

The man had been helping recover a bogged truck when the tractor hit him.

Despite attempts to perform CPR, the man died at the scene.

Worksafe will conduct an investigation into the death and a report will be prepared for the Coroner.
