It's a woolly world
As the introduction of The Campaign for Wool was being launched across Northern Europe, top wool fashions made an appearance at the IGA Perth Royal Show.
Australian Wool Innovation brought four designer labels to the Show, including Ellery, Sabatini, Michael Lo Sordo and Magdalena Velevska.
Meanwhile at the British Consulate in Tokyo, the lawns were filled with a flock of grazing sheep followed by a parade of the season's best wool designs.
In Berlin, wool was shown as the environmental sustainable fibre as pieces from Mark Fast and Paul Smith and interior designers Johanna Richter, Isabel Berglund and Britta Teleman reached the edges of technological advancement.
Amsterdam was celebrating International Wool Week with up-and-coming designers, such as award winning Magnus Dekker, using all wool.
All the while, Madrid emphasised wool's natural qualities with designer Estrella Archs creating a surreal magical showcase titled Avenue of Wool.
And just a few days after the last fashion parade held at the Perth Show took place, a Norwegian sheep-shearing event left a woolly trail after designers, including Cecilie Melli, Kara Traa and Tine Solheim, displayed the versatility of wool at shop fronts across Norway.
