There’ll be something for everyone at the 80th Mullewa Agricultural Show on Saturday, August 31, and people from Geraldton won’t want to miss out on the party.

“This year, we’re very much trying to remind Geraldton people that Mullewa is part of the City of Greater Geraldton — come out and see the agricultural side of Geraldton,” said Mullewa District Agricultural Society secretary Fiona Mann.

“We’ve got all the usual stuff, as well as a few new things.”

‘The usual’ include stock exhibits, sheep, wool and poultry judging, the Quick Shear competition, ‘farm Olympics’ for kids and adults, and a fireworks display.

But the focal point for the event is the BeActive Mullewa GIFT, a series of footraces with more than $5000 in total up for grabs.
