The WA Shearing Industry Association’s annual general meeting was held in Perth on Saturday, bringing together a broad group of speakers who addressed industry issues.

WA Agriculture Minister Alannah MacTiernan opened the proceedings to a 60–strong crowd, outlining the State Government’s interest towards sustainability.

WASIA president Darren Spencer was pleased to report the association had grown to 76 members throughout 2018–19.
