Ex-AFL player Ryan Crowley has denied assaulting his former girlfriend MAFS star Lauren Dunn

Ex-AFL player Ryan Crowley, 41, has denied assaulting his former girlfriend, Married At First Sight star Lauren Dunn.

Crowley is accused of choking, assaulting and threatening Ms Dunn over a number of incidents that occurred in 2019, 2020 and 2025.

Crowley pleaded not guilty in the Perth Magistrates Court to 13 domestic violence related offences after a number of charges were amended and three were dropped on Friday.

He also faced a fresh charge of being armed with a kitchen knife over an incident that occurred in Cottesloe last year.

The former Dockers and Bombers player will now fight the charges at a trial, with a date to be set at another hearing.

Crowley had his bail conditions extended and will appear at a trial allocation hearing for seven of the charges in the Perth Magistrates Court on April 14.

The remaining charges will be dealt with in the Perth District Court on June 19.

Crowley was drafted with the Fremantle Dockers in 2002 appearing in 188 games with the club, kicking 117 goals and earnt a Life Member status.

He was suspended for one year after testing positive to a banned substance in 2015 and spent one season with the Essendon Bombers before retiring.

Dunn appeared in season 11 of MAFS in 2024.
