Geelong’s Bailey Smith spotted with influencer Tammy Hembrow only weeks after her breakup from Matt Zukowski

AFL star Bailey Smith has sparked headlines after being spotted getting close with fitness influencer Tammy Hembrow on the Gold Coast, just weeks after she announced her divorce from former reality star and podcaster Matt Zukowski.

The pair were seen at the popular Burleigh Pavilion just over a week ago, where witnesses claimed they were holding hands and kissing for hours.

According to the Herald Sun, they were also seen together again on Saturday night following Geelong’s victory over Essendon.

Photos featured by The Daily Mail show Hembrow and Smith realising their relationship was no longer a secret when they noticed cameras stationed outside the Burleigh Pavilion.The pair had dinner inside the venue at ritzy restaurant Rick Shores.

A reporter from the publication also questioned Smith upon his return to Melbourne on Sunday.

In a video shared online, Smith is seen responding to a photographer who mispronounced Hembrow’s surname. “F***in’ hell, do your research,” he told the photographer. When asked directly if he and Hembrow are together, Smith replied: “What do you want me to say?,” before cursing at the reporter.

Hembrow, 31, and Zukowski, 30, announced their separation in June, only seven months after tying the knot.

The couple had faced months of speculation about their relationship status, and Hembrow eventually confirmed the breakup in a seven-minute-long emotional video.

“I wanted to finally tell you guys that I am getting a divorce,” Hembrow said.

“Did I think this was going to happen? No. Did I want this? No. Obviously, when you marry someone, you do it thinking that it is going to be forever.”

Zukowski, who rose to fame on Love Island, has now broken his silence on the recent developments, admitting that he feels blindsided by the news.

“We only broke up eight weeks ago. I just don’t understand how someone can move on so quickly. It’s been 48 days and I’m still trying to work out how I feel as a person after committing in marriage to someone. I’m trying to focus on myself and heal,” he told the Herald Sun.

It is believed that photos of the pair have been quietly circulating and may be released publicly in the near future.

Hembrow and Zukowski tied the knot in an extravagant ceremony in Byron Bay in November 2024.

The Gold Coast influencer shares three children with two previous partners, her ex-fiancés Reece Hawkins and Matt Poole.
