Bickley Harvest Festival
Saturday May 2 to 30, Perth Hills
It’s the 26th year of this celebration of wine, cider, spirits and produce in the Bickley, Carmel and Pickering Brook valleys. This is the opening weekend with a huge line-up of events. Visitors can choose their own adventure while hopping on and off the shuttle service. This year, the festival culminates with a landmark closing event, the Harvest Symphony with WASO, a ticketed evening of folk and classical music performed by the WA Symphony Orchestra at Chalet Rigi on May 30, set against sweeping views of the Bickley Valley.

Teen Jesus and the Jean Teasers

The Aussie indie band hit town as part of their Glory tour, on the back of their second album. The four-piece band shot to national attention with the release of their 2022 EP, Pretty Good For A Girl Band, with their breakout single Girl Sports being a radio favourite. They are supported by Darcie Haven.

His sardonic take on every day life has made Hughes a giant of Australian comedy. Well known for his stints on radio and appearances on shows like I’m A Celebrity . . . Get Me Out Of Here and Taskmaster Australia, this is a great opportunity to see the comedian doing what made him famous — telling jokes.

Tor Snyder
Friday May 8 and 9, 7pm Regal Theatre, Subiaco
A former staple of the Perth comedy scene, the now Melbourne-based Tor Snyder returns to the West with her show, Tor De Force. Expect sass, silliness, crassness and charm in equal measure.

Roger Leevers: Retrospective Within The Sea

Artist Roger Leevers is showcasing work created over 60 years of practice which has been largely shaped by his relationship with the ocean. There are paintings, watercolours, linocuts, and drawings of maritime subjects, historical reflections, and more personal visual inquiries.
