The owner of Golowin House in Mount Lawley — designed by brutalist architect Iwan Iwanoff — has been confirmed as Melissa Lekias and artist Stormie Mills. The $3.2 million Mount Lawley home settled this week. Ms Lekias said they bought it as a downsizer from their current Iwanoff-designed residence, known as Disco House, in Dianella. The uber cool couple made national headlines when they put Disco House on the market in May. But in disappointing news for all prospective buyers and lotto hopefuls, Ms Lekias this week revealed they had withdrawn it from the market. She said that at this point in time, the pair have too much on their plate, and need time to think about their next move. The pair continue their work in the arts, including Mr Mills internationally-renowned art. Ms Lekias generously volunteers her time to help other creatives, using her skills as one of Perth’s best and hardest working public relations experts. But amid their many projects, they hope for a little more time to smell the roses, and to enjoy the simply serenity of an Iwanoff home.
