Skoda has revealed a Fabia Run-Out Edition ahead of a new generation of the light car arriving within the next 12 months.

The Run-Out Edition can be had as a hatch or wagon with either of the current drivetrain choices: a 70kW/160Nm 1.0-litre three-cylinder turbo petrol engine paired to a five-speed manual, or the same sized engine offering 81KW/200Nm via a seven-speed dual clutch automatic.

The manual costs $21,990 drive-away and the auto $24,990 drive away, with a wagon body adding an extra $1000.

Standard gear includes 16-inch black alloys, sports suspension, LED daytime running lights and tail lights, 6.5-inch touch display with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, adaptive cruise control, rear view camera and more.
