The Daylesford by TERRACE Homes cleverly maximises living on a small block.

The two-storey display considers various buying trends in its purchasers, such as downsizers, young professionals and mining personnel, as well as those seeking a separate home office space and entrance to their home.

The home has a sleek and contemporary look from the outside and throughout courtesy of the dominantly white facade, alongside complementary finishes of dark wood and black.

TERRACE Homes Brand Manager Jessica Berry described the home’s aesthetic as a bushland retreat with a modern twist on textural elements of concrete, timber and cladding.

Once you enter the home, the adaptability and open design clearly maximises every bit of space.

Ms Berry said the flexible floor plan was an important aspect of the design.

“The Daylesford is a versatile home, cleverly designed to suit a 180sqm block,” she said.

“This is one of our most popular narrow designs, perfect for intergenerational living.

“Centred around an internal courtyard with floor-to-ceiling glazing front and back, the home was designed to feel spacious and filled with light despite the blocks small size.

“We were inspired to draw on the influences of the bushland-surrounded estate and provide a flexible floor plan for all buying demographics.”

The home includes spacious, open ground-floor living with an internal lightwell, perfect for growing herbs.

“Clever design on a 6m lot does not mean sacrificing light or greenery. In The Daylesford, all the living areas have an outlook bringing the outdoors in and ensuring bush-lovers are not missing out on being surrounded by the greenery they are used to,” Ms Berry said.

Heading upstairs, the two minor bedrooms offer a relaxing retreat, while the master suite has a modern layout and is generous in size.

“The master suite features a large walk-in robe and a generous ensuite, plus it incorporates a private balcony – an undeniable luxurious feature that helps amplify the room,” Ms Berry said.

“No space is wasted with a functional study nook outside the master bedroom.”

The home also possesses a studio carefully considered for intergenerational living, which is ideal for a home office, a yoga studio or a teenager’s retreat.

Appliances have been well considered, with premium Smeg appliances and an Essastone kitchen benchtop.

“The Daylesford is the perfect home for entertainers. The ground floor offers a generous kitchen, dining and living area, all seamlessly connected to a spacious alfresco.”

Ms Berry said its Bushmead location was ideal for people who appreciated the tranquility of living by bushland and parks, while also being near the Perth CBD.

“Low-maintenance design, perfect for busy families who want to enjoy the outdoors more than the housework,” she said.

“A large alfresco area and a generous living and kitchen area offer plenty of opportunities to entertain family and friends.

“Building on a small lot does not mean you need to compromise on space. This four-bedroom, three-bathroom home design offers a generous open-plan living and dining area connected to a large alfresco area. Together with a spacious kitchen, it means plenty of opportunities to entertain family and friends.”

The Daylesford is located at Bushmead Estate and is open for viewing on Wednesdays from 2-5pm and Saturdays and Sundays from 12-5pm.
