Denmark’s McLean Park was packed full of Great Southern Football League fans from all clubs on Saturday, as players and supporters cheered their favourites in a line-up of thrilling grand final clashes.

Denmark-Walpole, Railways, Albany, Royals and Mt Barker all had teams in the running for a flag across the sixteens, colts, reserves and league competitions, and their supporters braved threatening cloudy skies in the morning to show off their colours.

Luckily, the clouds parted and most of the day was clear for fans to set up picnic blankets, camp chairs and many home-made signs in bright club colours to watch the four premiership deciders unfold.

However, the Magpies got back on their feet and walked off 40-point winners in the colts decider, defeating Railways in a tough game that had tensions high on both sides all the way until the final siren.

Mt Barker bagged their second title of the day in the reserves, with an experienced side taking down Royals by 78 points.

The big day culminated in the highly anticipated league clash between Albany and Royals, with the Sharks coming out on top by 63 points after a dominant performance to cap a superb season.
