Police seeking information about serious McKail crash that left two van occupants seriously injured

Great Southern traffic police are calling for information about a serious crash in McKail on Wednesday evening that left two people with significant injuries.

Emergency services were called to Menang Drive near Albany Highway at about 6.15pm on April 29 after a white Volvo Prime Mover towing three trailers rolled across the road.

The rear trailer was struck by an oncoming white Hino van truck which was travelling in the opposite direction.

The van’s 35-year-old male driver and 36-year-old female passenger were seriously injured and taken to Albany Health Campus for treatment.

The driver of the Volvo, a 29 year old man was not injured.

Crash investigators are urging anyone who witnessed the incident or saw either vehicle travelling in the area beforehand to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 or on their website.

Police are also seeking any dash cam, CCTV or mobile phone footage that may assist the investigation to upload it online.
