Broome Bullets Black and Cable Beach tie in division two netball

It was a light round in division one of the Broome Netball competition with two teams forfeiting their matches and handing their opponents an easy win.

Cable Beach took down the Broome Towns by 11 points, handing the Towns their fifth loss of the season, 41 to 52.

The Flames forfeited their match-up against the Pearlers Old Girls, handing the Old Girls a victory.

The Broome Bulls also forfeited their clash against the Broome Bullets.

It was an exciting and close round in division two with two games ending in a draw.

The match between Cable Beach and Broome Bullets Blacks ended in a tie at 28 points apiece.

The result was similar between Broome Bullets Red and Broome Flames, with the match ending at 34 points each.

The Broome Towns took down Cable Beach Red by nine points, 45 to 36.

The two Broome Saints teams went head-to-head with the Green team coming out on top, defeating the Gold team by just five points, 46 to 41.

The Broome Bulls teams also clashed, with the Red team decimating the White team by 20 points, 45 to 25.

The Broome Towns are now at the top of the division two ladder beating the Broome Saints Gold team by four points who sit the next rung down on the ladder.

In division one Cable Beach are still sitting pretty on the top rung, with the Pearlers Old Girls in runner-up position six points behind Cable Beach.
