A pair of lawyers who work together in the Kimberley have been arrested after alleged unlawful conduct.

Major Crime Division detectives today charged two Broome men with attempt to pervert the court of justice after receiving complaints about unlawful conduct by the lawyers, which allegedly involved witnesses to criminal investigations and court proceedings between 2017 and 2019.

Police said a search warrant had been executed in their Broome office today.

The men, aged 38 and 30, will appear in Broome Magistrate’s Court on Monday.
