Powerhouse Fletcher Ghandor scores six tries for the Runaways in clash against the Allstars

The Broome Touch Rugby competition has returned for season two with teams competing for victory in round four.

In division one, the Bushchooks took on Fyre with the Bushchooks just managing to take home the victory.

The Bushchooks dominated the first half making six tries to the Fyre’s two.

Then Fyre pulled out all the stops in the second half and dominated, making six tries to the Buschooks’ three.

But the Bushchooks still managed to win the match but just a single point, 9 to 8.

Then the Stingers and the Pirates went head-to-head with the Stingers coming out on top.

The Stingers won both halves of the match, making four tries to the Pirates’ two in the first half and another two in the second half, securing themselves the win, 7 to 3.

Lachlan Tate made the most scores for the Pirates with two tries while Jessica Healy made the most scores for the Stingers also with two.

The Runaways ran away with the victory in their match-up against the Allstars.

The Allstars failed to make a try in the first half while the Runaways made four, but the Allstars came back fighting in the second half scoring six tries.

But the Runaways proved to be too quick for the Allstars, scoring seven more tries in the second half and securing themselves the win, 11 to 6.

Fletcher Ghandor was a powerhouse for the Runaways team, scoring six tries during the match. Shannon O’Connor and Megan O’Connor made the most tries for the Allstars with two each.

Good Palpations dominated the Exploders in their clash on Thursday night.

The Exploders failed to score in the first half while Good Palpations made a solid lead scoring seven tries, with Anna Speirs making the most for the team with four.

In the second half both teams scored three tries each but Good Palpations had already secured the win with their first-half performance, 10 to 3.

In division two, Primewest Panthers defeated Scoregasms, 10 to 4, the Animals defeated the Triple 0’s by three tries, 10 to 7, and the Untouched defeated ARAC Attack, 15 to 6.
