The RAC Rescue helicopter was called to a two car crash on Caves Road, near the intersection of Wildwood Road, in Yallingup today at about 10.51am.

Appliances from Dunsborough Volunteer Fire and Rescue service attended the incident where a woman was trapped in a red Range Rover but St John Ambulance volunteers assessed her injuries and cancelled the helicopters activation.

A spokesperson for St John Ambulance said a woman was helped from her car after the incident but neither driver was taken to hospital.

“An elderly woman was helped from her car but refused to be taken for care as she had received only minor injuries,” they said.

The road is now clear with parents able to collect students from Yallingup Steiner School.
