A 66-year-old Busselton man has been refused bail after being accused of child sex and drug offences.

Karl Fredrick Dominic Holmes appeared in Busselton Magistrate’s Court on Tuesday via video link from Hakea Prison charged with five counts of sexual penetration of a child under 13 years and nine counts of indecent dealing with a child under 13 years.

Mr Holmes was also charged with one count of cultivating a prohibited plant, three counts of possessing a prohibited drug (cannabis), one count of possessing drug paraphernalia in or on which there was a prohibited drug or plant and one count of possession of prohibited drugs with intent to sell or supply (cannabis).

Mr Holmes is due to reappear at Busselton Magistrate’s Court for a committal hearing on June 30.
