Vasse Primary School Principal Sinan Kerimofski will put his fears aside by abseiling 52 stories down the Central Park building in St Georges Terrace, Perth, for WA charity Cahoots on November 8.

Mr Kerimofski, the national director of the Australian Council for Education Leadership and former principal of Margaret River Primary School, will confront his fear of heights by abseiling 220m. He is part of a team of educators invested in the success of young people, particularly those who could most use the help.

Mr Kerimofski said he was beginning to feel nervous about the event but it was worth it to raise funds for children living with a disability.

“Cahoots create opportunities like camps for children living with disability and facing exceptional challenges to develop friendship skills and confidence, which is something we’re very proud to support,” he said.

The Central Park Plunge is the biggest urban city abseil, raising funds for nine Perth charities.
