The deadly coronavirus continues to prey on Australians with another death in the Eastern States.

The woman in her 70s died in hospital after contracting coronavirus in Victoria, bringing the nation’s death toll to 22.

Meanwhile, the first of three planes with Chinese medical supplies bought by WA mining magnate Andrew Forrest has landed in Perth.

The China Eastern A330 touched down at Perth Airport overnight carrying pallets of PPE from Shanghai.

Mr Forrest used his clout in China to guarantee the flow of medical supplies and has backed it up with $160 million of his own money.
