Prime Minister Scott Morrison announced this afternoon that all overseas travellers arriving or returning to Australia will be required to self-isolate for 14-days.

Speaking at a conference in Sydney following a phone hook-up with all state and territory premiers he made the call to emulate New Zealand’s move to contain the spread of coronavirus through new arrivals.

He also announced that cruise ships from foreign ports have also been banned from coming to Australia, but aid they had decided against closing down schools.
