Luke A J: Perth ‘influencer’ and model-for-hire has sex charge discontinued due to insufficient evidence

A Perth influencer and model-for-hire accused of sexually assaulting a woman in the city last year has had his charge dropped due to insufficient evidence. At his first appearance in Perth Magistrates Court in September, Luke A J immediately pleaded not guilty to indecently assaulting a woman on May 16 in the CBD and was granted bail. But on Tuesday, the single count was discontinued, with the 30-year-old awarded costs of $2500. He goes by “never.lukewarm” on Instagram where he has more than 8700 followers, down almost 700 since the allegation was reported. A podcaster, he describes himself on influencer marketplace The Right Fit as a “freelance model and content creator with over six years in the industry”. He also says he’s a medical student and spruiks work as a personal trainer and event MC.
