Double stabbing after fight at West Swan caravan park

A woman is fighting for her life after a double stabbing at a caravan park in the Swan Valley on Wednesday night.

Police will allege that a 51-year-old man from West Swan was involved in a fight with a 50-year-old woman and a 42-year-old man the Swan Valley Tourist Park.

Witnesses told 7News Perth the two men are brothers and began fighting at about 9.30pm which lead to the younger man being stabbed.

The woman then joined the fight and was also stabbed.

Both were taken to Royal Perth Hospital where the woman is in a critical condition in the intensive care unit while the man is stable.

Police have charged the 51-year-old man with grievous bodily harm and wounding.

He is due to appear in the Midland Magistrate’s Court today.
