New details of Ascot shooting at Hells Angels bikie Dayne Brajkovich’s house revealed

A Holden sedan belonging to senior Hells Angels bikie Dayne Brajkovich and the inside of his Ascot garage copped the brunt of Tuesday’s night gun attack, it has now emerged. The West Australian can also reveal that the police investigation launched by the gang crime squad into the shooting has been codenamed Operation Loronar. It’s understood the Holden belonging to the Hells Angels sergeant-at-arms and the interior of his garage, which is decked out in Hells Angels paraphernalia, sustained bullet holes in the shooting. It’s believed the Holden was seized and taken away by police shortly after the incident. At least five gun casings — suspected to be 9mm rounds — were left behind at the scene after the shooting, which occurred about 7.15pm. Police say the shots were fired from a stolen black Porsche which pulled into the street behind Brajkovich’s Sedgeland Way home. It’s understood nobody got out of the Porsche to fire the shots and that the rounds were fired from the driver’s side of the stolen vehicle, which was later found burnt out in High Wycombe. Brajkovich, 41, his partner and her seven-year-old child, who both had just arrived home, were inside the house at the time of the shooting. They were not injured. The shooting is the most serious flashpoint of bikie violence since the sniper-style murder of Rebels bikie boss Nick Martin on December 12. In a rare move yesterday, Police Commissioner Chris Dawson — who said the shooting was an “outrageous criminal act” — appealed to the family members of bikies to help police end the violence. “Even those that are family or associates of criminal gang members, I’m sure some of them are saying to themselves ‘enough is enough’,” Mr Dawson said yesterday. “This is a matter that should concern everyone. We don’t want this to continue”. Police are appealing for information about the stolen black Porsche, which was taken from a home in Applecross on February 21. Anyone who saw the car between that date and Tuesday night should call Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000. Police especially want to speak to anyone who has DashCam footage of Abernethy Road, north and south bound, and Kalamunda Road between Great Eastern Highway Bypass and Roe Highway between the hours of 7.20pm-7.40pm on Tuesday night.
