WA Police hunt for thief armed with a knife after Morley deli targeted

A man armed with a knife helped himself to the cash register at a Morley Deli on Saturday afternoon. The man went to the deli on the corner of Lincoln Road and McGilvray Avenue about 3.20pm. The man removed cash from the register tray and then ran from the store. No further threats were made and no one was injured in the ordeal. Local police patrolled the area immediately after the armed hold-up with specialist teams, including officers from the dog squads. However, by 4pm no arrests had been made.
