A caravan has gone up in flames in an early-morning disaster that broke out south of Perth.

Emergency crews, including DFES firefighters, attended the blaze on Mandurah Terrace in Mandurah about 4.40am on Friday.

The cause of the fire, which was swiftly extinguished, is not known.

No one was injured in the blaze.

Mandurah Terrace is home to the Mandurah Coastal Holiday Park, which hosts 191 sites, of which 79 are permanent.
