The Arson Squad has been called in to investigate a suspicious fire that caused $150,000 worth of damage to a Cloverdale home last night.

Firefighters were called to the Finnan Street house about 11:26pm.

It took them about 40 minutes to extinguish the blaze at the rear end of the house.

No one was inside at the time and the cause is yet to be determined.
