Investigation underway after Care for Kids School of Early Learning in Kingsley goes up in flames

Care for Kids School of Early Learning in Kingsley will remain closed to children and families on Friday after a fire caused extensive damage to the building.

Fire crews were called to the centre about 4.52am on Friday morning after a blaze started in the kitchen.

The fire was contained to the kitchen but the building sustained extensive smoke damage.

An investigation into the cause of the fire is underway.
