A man has narrowly missed ploughing into the bedroom of a young Manning family’s home after allegedly slamming his car into their garage.

Police were called to the Hope Avenue home, just before 8:10pm last night.

It’s understood the 30-year-old man was driving a white Toyota Aurion along Klem Avenue, before he allegedly crashed through the home’s garage door, and into two parked cars.

A witness said the driver became aggressive towards the home owners when they came out of the house to see what happened.

Police say the man, from Salter Point, also refused to provide a breath test.

He’s been charged with dangerous driving and failure to comply with a requirement to provide a sample of breath for analysis, and was served a motor driver’s licence disqualification notice.

The man will face Perth Magistrates Court today.
