Geraldton Police and other emergency services interrupted their participation in Christmas in the Terrace celebrations to attend a car crash around 4.50pm this afternoon.

Sgt Paul Johnson said nobody was seriously injured in the two-vehicle crash.

“One vehicle rolled over at Cathedral and Sanford,” he said.

“The Ambulance and DFES attended after an initial report somebody was trapped but this was not the case.”

A police media spokesman said one car was on its side after a crash near the Caltex service station at the corner of Cathedral Avenue and Sanford Street.
