Passengers on a Qantas plane from Perth to Geraldton on March 19 have been urged to watch for COVID-19 symptoms after a person tested positive.

The WA Department of Health is advising all passengers on QF2982 that day to monitor their health for 14 days from the day the flight landed and to contact the Mid West Public Health Unit on 9956 1985 if symptoms develop.

People who were seated in rows 6, 7, 8, 9 and 10 are asked to self-quarantine at home for 14 days from the day the flight landed and to also call 9956 1985 should symptoms arise.

As of Friday afternoon, two people had tested positive in the Mid West to COVID-19 since testing began.
