Enthusiastic kids continuing to improve as the Katanning Netball Association season progresses

Junior players returned to the court in the Katanning Netball Association last Saturday after a few weeks off over the school holidays.

All the Net and Set kids returned with enthusiasm and are continuing to learn the game.

They are grasping the netball rules throughout their weeks of training and it showed in a mini game they had at the end of their session.

Go juniors and juniors are continuing to push themselves and their development since the first round has been encouraging.

The green shirts umpiring program was back on and it was great to see the young girls getting into the spirit of learning to become an umpire.

Seniors was an array of highs and low in their second week back from a break.

Olympians 1 took on Dumbleyung in the A and A-reserve grade and Olympians finished comfortable 53-22 winners.

Broomehill proved too much for Kia Ora, winning 41-29 while Cardinals Force caused an upset against the higher-placed Allstars 1 with a 49-46 win.

In a terrific round of B-grade netball, Olympians 2 claimed their first official win since fixtures changed, against Kojonup 2.

Olympians 2 owned the court at the end to finish 39-31 winners.

Allstars 2 were too strong for Tambellup Bluebirds, running out 47-32 victors.

Kojonup 3 produced another outstanding effort in C-grade.

It was the second week in a row they have won with only six players, holding on 38-23 against Cardinals Vixens.

Olympians 3 had their first win for the season against Dumbleyung 2, a strong effort resulting in a 22-19 triumph.
