The 82-year-old man, also known as Jack Alexander, sparked welfare concerns when he last contacted friends by telephone on November 23.

Mr Alexander was travelling in his silver Suzuki Jimny, registration 1EQN166, and has a keen interest in prospecting.

Unfortunately, it is unknown what clothing the man was wearing at the time.
