One West Aussie has become an overnight millionaire — and they might not even know it yet.

A Lotto ticket sold in Perth’s north scooped up a division one prize in Wednesday’s Millionaire Medley after matching all winning numbers.

Lotterywest is urging anyone who purchased a ticket at Mirrabooka Millions to check their entry, with the retailer’s owner Jay Xu saying he would love to see the prize go to a regular customer.

“This is my store’s third division one win of the year, and we also sold a top prize scratchie in June with a $50,000 prize, so that makes four,” Mr Xu said.

“It’s so great for the staff, it always brings joy into the workplace when we’ve had a win.

“So many customers come in and congratulate us – I’d love to see the prize go to one of our regular customers or a local person.”

After a quiet few months for WA Lotto players, Lotterywest spokesperson Zoe Wender said it has been a fantastic week for the State.

“Just days after a WA play online ticket claimed the entire $6 million Saturday Lotto jackpot, we’re celebrating another Division One winner – this time in Mirrabooka,” she said.

“Selling three Division One winning tickets in just seven months is fantastic for Mirrabooka Millions and a wonderful result for the local community.”

West Aussies’ next chance at winning big is in Thursday night’s Powerball, with an eye-watering $40 million up for grabs.
