Powerball: Single entry takes home entire $60 million division one jackpot
Thursday night’s entire $60 million jackpot has been scooped by one lucky player. The ticket was bought in New South Wales.
Although no West Australian had the winning numbers to take home division one honours in Thursday’s draw, more than $4 million was collected from divisions three to seven by players from the State.
“While we would have been thrilled for a WA ticket to have taken out the division one prize, the good news is that more than $10 million has been raised over the five-week jackpot run to support the WA community through Lotterywest grants,” Lotterywest’s Lisa Williams said.
Over 500,000 tickets were sold across WA for Thursday’s Powerball jackpot.
Thursday’s winning numbers were 22, 6, 1, 16, 17, 29, 11 and 2.
The next chance for WA players to win big is in next Tuesday’s $30 million OZ Lotto draw.
