Man rushed to hospital after reporting shooting in southwest Sydney

A man has been rushed to hospital following a reported shooting in southwest Sydney on Saturday morning. NSW Ambulance said they were called to two scenes - at Proctor Way and the adjoining Dobell Avenue - at Claymore. About 9.30am they were called to Dobell Avenue after reports of a shooting and treated a man in his 30s at the scene before he was rushed to hospital. Paramedics also responded to reports of an assault at Proctor Way and a man was treated by paramedics before being taken to Liverpool Hospital. There is still a large police presence at the scene, which has been taped off. More to come.
