A mother and her newborn baby have been reported missing after leaving King Edward Memorial Hospital on Monday sparking a massive police search.

Coral Edmonds, 32, left the woman’s maternity hospital in Subiaco about 11.45am with her newborn baby, and has not been in contact with family or friends since.

Police have urgent concerns for the mother and baby’s welfare as the pair have not returned to hospital since leaving.

Ms Edmonds is described as being 170 to 175cm tall with black hair and brown eyes.

Anyone who sees Ms Edmonds is asked to call police immediately on 131 444.
