Narrogin residents have one last chance to name the public parks around town after the Shire of Narrogin decided it was time to install new signage.

The Shire has reached out to the community asking for feedback about the park’s current or previously known names.

They are also encouraging people to suggest new names for council’s consideration.

Chief executive Dale Stewart said the Shire wanted names that reflected and honoured Narrogin’s past residents.

“We have written to more than 200 residents across Narrogin whose properties abound a number of the parks identified for signage asking for input,” he said.
