The cold and windy winter weather has set in across the region but clear skies allowed the stars to put on a glimmering show last week.

Astrophotographers hit the ground in West Arthur to capture revealing images of the night sky over some of the town’s astrotourism hot spots.

Some of the best spots to see the stars include the Arthur River Hall, St Paul’s Church, Lake Towerrinning at the Lakeside camping grounds and Six Mile Cottage.
