Police find 46-year-old Darkan woman safe and well in Upper Murray after she was missing for five days

A 46-year-old Darkan woman has been found safe and well in the Upper Murray area, five days after she was reported missing.

Police announced they had successfully located Jodie King at about 12.30pm on Monday, hours after issuing a second plea for public assistance in their search.

Ms King was last seen near a residence on Quindanning-Darkan Road in the Darkan area on Wednesday morning, June 24.

She was reported missing the next day.

Search patrols were conducted by Williams police and State Emergency Service volunteers in the Lake Brockman vicinity.
