Safety on Tarwonga Road in Narrogin is set for a boost, with $88,000 invested by the State Government under the latest round of blackspot funding.

The blackspot funding program is geared towards improving roads with a crash history.

More than $27 million is set to be invested in 83 roads around WA in the latest round.

At Tarwonga Road, funding will go towards widening the road, correcting its vertical geometry, and installing signs and pavement markings.

Transport Minister Rita Saffioti said the money would be well spent.
