WA’s country roads have claimed another life after a man in his 50s was thrown from his motorcycle on Wagin-Dumbleyung Road last Sunday morning.

The accident happened about 10:50am, when the black and silver Yamaha motorcycle was travelling west, 2km east of the Wagin townsite. Police say it appeared the rider failed to negotiate a right-hand bend, causing the motorcycle to leave the road and strike a culvert.

The man died at the scene.

The accident comes just over a week after a 42-year-old man was killed in a crash when his Ford Falcon ute struck several trees on the Kondinin-Narembeen Road.

Anyone with information about the crash is asked to contact Crime Stoppers.
