Earthquake of 6.1 magnitude rattles Hawaii
A 6.1 magnitude earthquake has struck off the coast of the Big Island in Hawaii, rattling residents and causing items to fall off shelves.
The US Geological Survey said Sunday's quake had a depth of nearly 17km.
The National Weather Service in Honolulu said there was no tsunami threat.
Residents of Oahu reported feeling the shaking, but no injuries were immediately reported.
At a petrol station on Oahu, the refrigerator display doors were opened by the shaking and items fell to the ground.
