Light, art and celebration coming to Calista from February 26 for four-day OMG! Festival

OMG will be the word on everyone’s lips when the City of Kwinana lights up this February.
For the third year the OMG! Festival will roll into town bringing a celebration of light, art, and community.
The four-day celebration runs from Thursday, February 26 to Sunday March 1 and will transform Calista Oval into a glowing wonderland.
There will be immersive installations, live music, roaming performers, food trucks, pop-up bars and fun for all ages.
But the undeniable star of the festival is The Falcon, a spectacular four-metre-high puppet with a ten-metre wingspan, captivating audiences across the country.

The Falcon will soar and glide across the precinct, bringing the night to life.
Alongside The Falcon, visitors can explore stunning new works by Noelene Regan and Hope, including audio-visual projections and interactive experiences lighting up the night and sparking imagination.
On Thursday, the festival starts with gentle, illuminated walks under glowing artworks.
The energy builds on Friday and Saturday nights, with music, performances, and community celebrations filling every corner.

Saturday is the festival’s showpiece, with bold performances, interactive art, and roving entertainers creating an unforgettable atmosphere.
The festival winds down on Sunday with a calm, family-friendly farewell, perfect for one last magical walk beneath the lights.
Through storytelling, light, sound, and Nyoongar language, OMG! Festival 2026 celebrates Kwinana’s rich cultural heritage and vibrant local artists.
